BEST EXAM AND LAST DAY OF HIGH SCHOOL EVER! This is probably the most useful thing I've ever made in art. I thought I took lots of pictures but I can't seem to find them. Thats okay though. That tells you about the amount of stress I was under at the time! I wanted to go with the japanese theme because it was sushi ware. The very first thing I made was my ying yang bowls. After three tries, I found that it was easiest to draw the ying yang signs in a slab, then make the walls to create the bowl. Next was the chopsticks rest, which is a scroll. I made the sauce cups and drinking cup on the pottery wheel! I'm still proud of myself with that because that thing takes patience to use. Because I made a bamboo rack, I wanted to make three small plates instead of one giant one. I thought they were going to come out larger but things happen and thats okay too. I spray painted and poly'd the rack and I glazed the rest of my things. On most of it used firecracker red, which has the cool little pellets in it that added pops of blue and white, which took care of some of the detailing. The rest I just splatter painted using black and white! Work harder not smarter! Awesome project!
