This was my first experience with wire and it was a battle to say none the least. I worked with the 19 gauge wire for the most part and I still faced many challenges. Coming up with the design was easy this time, I went for the first thing I came up with and ran with it. The time limit on the projects forces me not to procrastinate. I chose the model of an olympian holding the American Flag after they win gold because the 2014 Winter Olympics are going on right now. Creating the flag wasn't hard at all the only thing that gave me trouble with the flag was creating the essence of the stars. Curving the wire that tight was not the easiest thing! Next I made the person. Making the arms, legs, and body piece was not hard at all, attaching them together was the hardest part of this project. The wire was being very stubborn which caused me to become frustrated and a tad careless. All in all the project wasn't bad it was just tedious. I was extremely happy when I mounted it to the wood base and called it done.
